Stage 1: Tangkoko National Park
Our trip to North Sulawesi with three other students during the semester break (semester week 7-8) turned out to be a fascinating adventure that indulged our senses with breathtaking panoramas and unique nature experiences. Our venture began with a flight to Manado, from where we explored the renowned Tangkoko National Park, known for its extraordinary biodiversity. In this natural paradise, we had the unique opportunity to observe various animals such as primates and exotic birds in their natural habitat. The lush vegetation and the sounds of the jungle left a lasting impression.
Stage 2: Bunaken National Park
We then headed to Bunaken, an island renowned for its magnificent coral reefs and abundant marine life. This peaceful oasis, which is only frequented by a few travelers, gave us the rare privilege of marveling at dolphins far away from the usual tourist crowds. The crystal-clear waters and pristine beaches gave us a feeling of seclusion and tranquillity.
Stage 3: Beniha
Our next stop was Beniha, where we went on an adventurous hike along a river lined with lush jungle. This watercourse not only offered a refreshing change of pace, but also a unique perspective to experience nature up close.
Stage 4: Gorontalo
The crowning glory was our stay in Gorontalo, where we had the extraordinary opportunity to swim with whale sharks. Seeing these majestic giants of the sea in their natural habitat was an overwhelming experience that took our breath away. Our trip presented itself as the perfect symbiosis of adventure, nature exploration and unforgettable moments that are deeply engraved in our memories.
